About Tracy

Creating beautiful animals

Tracy Roberts studied Art and Design at Southport college of Art between 1981 and 1983.  She went on to Brighton to continue her study in 3 dimensional design working in Wood, Metal, Plastics and Ceramics.  She returned to Southport College as a part time lecturer in general art & design and ran weekly Jewellery workshops.

Tracy was always passionate about animals and had many of her own. 'Tracy Roberts Ceramics' was founded in 2017 after she had spent 20 years working in pharmaceutical sales which enabled her to move to a small holding where she has horses, four dogs and a rowdy gang of rescue chickens, she also breeds pedigree Ryeland sheep and currently has a flock of 32.  Tracy decided to turn an old outbuilding into a studio and her work went from strength to strength..

"Having spent so much of my life working in a job that left me unfulfilled, I decided to go for it and I have never looked back.  My only regret is that I waited so long.  We can so easily get stuck in a rut and fear can halt our escape.

I love what I do now, I look forward everyday to getting in my Studio and creating.  My sculptures are for direct sale and I welcome private commissions of animals and pets.   My work is shipped world wide and I work closely with my clients sending regular updates to ensure they are happy with their commissioned piece and have an enjoyable journey to their perfect and unique sculpture"
